The historic Bir Hakeim bridge has one of the best views of the Eiffel Tower and River Seine in the whole of Paris.
We send you a spoof tourist map to convince your partner that you should visit the bridge. The map provides clear directions of how to find the bridge and some history of the bridge, Eiffel Tower and the river Seine.
(Did you know?....The bridge has featured in movies including Last Tango in Paris, Zazie dans le Metro and for the amazing bridge scene in the movie "Inception" starring Leonardo Di Caprio and Ellen Page).
Before your agreed proposal time, you can sit at a nearby café or walk on the romantic island path that runs left beneath the bridge. Your photographer is in regular contact with you by text to make sure the timing is perfect. You escort your partner to the terrace that overlooks the Eiffel Tower to admire the view.
As you approach the stone bench in the middle of the bridge, you will see what looks like a large rolled up scroll, tied with a red satin ribbon, and a photographer working around it, apparently trying to photograph it.
After a while, he approaches your partner and asks them to help with a couple of shots. He asks your partner to pull the red ribbon so the banner starts to unroll.
The banner unrolls, revealing before their eyes, the unforgettable words - (Your partners name) + Will you marry me?
Your photographer is in the perfect spot to capture the whole build-up to your proposal.
Then the magic happens... As your partner reads their name and realizes the Will you marry me message is for them.
As they turn towards you in amazement, you are already down on one knee waiting to present the ring.
Your photographer who has been secretly shooting the build-up to the big question - then captures for all time - the expression on your loved ones face as you ask your partner to marry you!
After the proposal your photographer holds a mini-photo session for your as a newly engaged couple. The photo session takes about 20-30 minutes.
The next day you will be emailed 2 to 5 pictures as a sneak-peek of your photo session to share with your family and friends. The remainder of your pictures (about 20) will be sent to you about a week later, after your photographer has had time to lightly edit them. Images are print and web resolution.
After your partner has said yes and regained their composure, we will produce a half-bottle of champagne so you can toast your engagement in true Parisian style, over looking the Eiffel Tower and the Seine.
A non-alcoholic option is available.
To complete your proposal, nothing says, "I love you" like a single red rose. Your photographer will pass you a rose to present to your fiancée as a reminder of such an amazing moment. In 1775, Marie Antoinette was presented with a rosebud, and it was said to be so perfect that it caused her to faint.
"It was my girlfriend's dream to visit Paris and mine to propose with the Eiffel Tower in the background. It could not have been more perfect for both of us. Thank you for making it such a romantic and memorable day."
